1.8T 20V Street/Race Exhaust Camshaft

The IE Street/Race Exhaust Camshaft (IECVA2-1) is engineered with a more aggressive cam profile and centerline grind, specifically for VW/Audi 1.8T 20V engines. This camshaft is intended for builds targeting 400-600 horsepower and offers an optimal powerband between 4000-8000 RPM when combined with a compatible IE intake camshaft. Technical specifications for this camshaft include a 267-degree advertised duration, 204-degree duration at 0.050", 0.370" lift, and a 108-degree cam lobe centerline (CLA). For optimal performance and valvetrain longevity, especially with larger turbos and camshafts that increase RPM limits, upgrading the valve springs and retainers is highly recommended. Integrated Engineering suggests using their IE 1.8T 20V Valve Spring & Retainer Kit to achieve ideal valvetrain harmonics and safe revving. This camshaft is specifically designed for the 1.8T 20V (06A & 058) engines. It requires installation alongside a matching IE intake camshaft, such as the IECVA2-2 Street/Race Intake Camshaft or the IECVA1-2 Race Intake Camshaft, depending on the turbocharger setup.
