This hose is compatible with modern long-life coolants, Organic Acid Technology coolants, and air containing oil mist.

The Forge Motorsport Silicone Intake Hose represents a completely retooled, redesigned, and reengineered solution for VAG 1.8T engine applications. Specifically designed for the 1.8T engine, this hose fits a range of vehicles including the Golf, Jetta, GTI, New Beetle Turbo S, and Seat Leon (excluding the Leon Cupra R). It is compatible with engine codes AWW, AWD, AWP, AUM, APP, AWU, and AUQ. A necessary blanking plug for an unused port on specific engine codes is included at no additional charge. The construction features a high-sheer strength silicone compound hand-laid with a polyester reinforcement fabric. Each hose is manufactured with consistency and includes all necessary ports and provisions for each engine code and application. Dyno testing performed by NGP Racing on a 2003 Jetta 1.8T (AWP engine code) demonstrated performance improvements. With stock ECU software, a 5.82 WHP increase was observed, while with APR's 93 octane software, the increase was 12.26 WHP (SAE corrected). The hose incorporates an inner liner of Fluorosilicone, making it suitable for modern long-life coolants, Organic Acid Technology (O.A.T.) coolants, or air containing oil mist. A lifetime warranty is included with the product. Potential buyers are advised that these hoses were patterned from right-hand drive vehicles, and visual confirmation of suitability for left-hand drive vehicles is recommended before installation.
