1-Channel Class D Compact Amplifier

The PowerBass ACS 500D is a 1-channel Class D compact amplifier engineered for maximum efficiency and cooling. It incorporates a 6 oz/kg high-density heat sink and selected SMD components, drawing from the design principles of their classic ASA series. This mono block amplifier is 1-ohm stable, producing 500 watts of power at 1 ohm, 300 watts at 2 ohms, and 200 watts at 4 ohms. This amplifier supports both high-level (speaker) and low-level (RCA) inputs, offering flexibility in system integration. It includes a remote soft delay turn on/off circuit and a variable gain control. For tone shaping, it features a variable low-pass electronic crossover (30 Hz - 250 Hz) with a 12 dB slope and a selectable 12dB bass boost EQ at 45Hz. A variable subsonic filter is also included, adjustable from 15 Hz to 50 Hz. The ACS 500D is equipped with a comprehensive protection circuit to safeguard against impedance over-load, speaker short circuits, and thermal overheating. Its compact dimensions (9.7" x 7.1" x 2.0") allow for easy installation in nearly any vehicle, providing high-fidelity audio with low distortion.
