The Roto-Fab 1 GC Cold Air Intake system is specifically engineered for LS engine swaps in first-generation Camaros, aiming to maximize the horsepower gains achievable with a well-designed cold air intake. This system utilizes 4-inch outer diameter 6061 aluminum duct work finished in texture black, paired with a high-gloss black powder-coated aluminum air box that integrates seamlessly with existing mounting points. Key components of this intake include a high-gloss black powder-coated air box lid with a sight window and half-turn fasteners, 100 percent high-gloss silicone couplers, and a lifetime serviceable air filter. The design accommodates minor variations in engine placement through adjustable engagement in the silicone couplers, and the air box and polycarbonate insert are shaped to complement the factory diagonal support brace for a custom fit. Installation of the Roto-Fab 1 GC Cold Air Intake is designed to be direct, requiring no drilling or modifications to the vehicle. It leverages two existing bolt holes in the core support for front anchoring and includes a longer bolt for the inner fender to create a rear mounting stud. A tune is required for optimal performance and operation. It is important to note that this product is not available for sale or use in California due to state regulations. The system does not include a MAF sensor mounting block; a separate part number (1016-1038) is available for this component if needed. The replacement filter for this system is part number 1013-5011.
