The AudioControl PNW-1 is a 1-inch high-fidelity car audio tweeter engineered to elevate your audio experience with accurate sound reproduction and minimal distortion. It features a hybrid silk dome tweeter and diaphragm constructed with a precision-machined aluminum housing for durability and quality, complemented by a sonic damping pad for improved performance. The neodymium magnet ensures enhanced efficiency within a compact design. Installation is streamlined thanks to the detachable housing assembly, which is ideal for Original Equipment (OE) applications, and the inclusion of multiple mounting accessories that accommodate various setups. The PNW-1 also comes with in-line high-pass filters that ensure only the desired frequencies reach the tweeter, thereby maximizing sound output and minimizing distortion. Key specifications include a 3-ohm nominal impedance, a 100W RMS power handling (125W max), and a frequency response from 1kHz to 20kHz. The tweeter voice coil diameter is 25mm. The integrated in-line crossover is a 1st Order Butterworth type with a 3.5 kHz HP crossover frequency and a -6 dB slope. The overall diameter with grille is 2.13 inches, with a cut-out diameter of 1.85 inches and a mounting depth of just 0.63 inches.
