The GW Auto Parts 5105-5110A is a wheel adapter engineered to convert a 5x105mm vehicle bolt pattern to a 5x110mm wheel bolt pattern, allowing for the installation of different wheels. Crafted from cold-forged 6061-T6 billet aluminum, this adapter boasts a thickness of 1.0 inch (25mm) and a 56.5mm hub bore for a precise fit. The adapter is equipped with pre-installed heavy-duty class 10.9 wheel studs featuring a 12x1.5 thread size for securing the wheel. Installation of these adapters should only be performed by a trained professional. It is crucial to ensure the adapters are installed properly using the correct hardware. The vehicle's factory lug nuts are not compatible with these adapters; two sets of lug nuts are required: one set of open-ended lugs to attach the adapter to the vehicle and another set to attach the wheel to the adapter's studs. The adapter studs come with 12x1.5 open-ended lugs, which may be used to bolt the adapter to the vehicle if the thread size is correct. Important considerations must be taken during installation. The studs on the vehicle cannot protrude past the face of the adapter; modifications such as grinding or cutting may be necessary. Any clips or retaining rings on the vehicle's studs must be removed. Always ensure there is no gap between the adapter and the back of the wheel once installed.
