Description

The Recon Truck Accessories 26420 is an aluminum load resistor designed for LED replacement bulbs. It is a 12-volt, 6-ohm, 50-watt component used to remedy issues caused by the low power consumption of LED bulbs in newer vehicles. This resistor connects across turn signal bulbs to simulate the load of a traditional filament bulb, preventing hyper flashing or dashboard warnings of a burnt-out bulb.

The resistor is compatible with most signal or brake lights that use single or dual filament LED bulbs, including common types like 7443, 1157, 3157, 4157, 1156, 7440, and 3156. It provides a 2-amp load to ensure proper signaling and is an essential detail for aftermarket truck lighting needs.
