The Factor 55 Flat Splicer is a winch accessory designed to protect synthetic winch lines. It minimizes frontal protrusion and reduces exposed winch rope. Constructed from 1.75-inch aluminum with a Mil-Spec hard anodized black finish, it features integrated EPDM rubber pads.

This splicer is the world's first splice-on folding winch rope shackle mount thimble. It allows the rope to be stowed with the groove side toward the winch for protection against UV light, impacts, and abrasion. It can also fold flat against winch fairleads, improving approach angles. It accommodates common 3/4-inch shackles and larger 7/8-inch shackles.
