The Merchant Automotive ARP Rocker Shaft Bolt Kit is a set of 5 replacement bolts and washers designed to replace worn or stretched OEM rocker shaft bolts. It is common for OEM rocker bolts to stretch during installation after head gasket service, potentially preventing them from reaching the correct torque of 30 ft-lbs. Insufficient torque can lead to excessive deflection and costly valve train damage. This kit helps ensure proper torquing and prevent such issues. Each kit services one bank of the engine; two kits are required per engine.
