Description

The Merchant Automotive Transfer Case Speedometer Tone Wheel is a replacement rear output speed sensor tone wheel designed for GM transfer cases with a 49-spline mainshaft. It is compatible with NP261HD, NP263HD, NP261XHD, and NP263XHD transfer cases.

This component interacts with the speed sensor's magnetic pickup to generate signals for accurate vehicle speed indication on the speedometer. A faulty tone wheel can disrupt this signal, potentially causing the transmission to enter "limp" mode as a protective measure.
