Description

The Pacbrake C20135 is an ECM By-Pass System designed for Pacbrake exhaust brakes. This system reduces the delay in activating the exhaust brake by more than 50%. It includes an accelerator pedal-mounted micro switch with all necessary components for installation.

Installation of this kit may result in the loss of certain factory-designed ECM features. Specifically, the warm-up feature on 2003 and 2007 Dodge Rams, which activates the exhaust brake at idle below 175 degrees F, will be lost. This loss is generally not a concern in warmer climates. Additionally, on manual transmission vehicles, the progressive braking feature, which automatically activates the exhaust brake to slow the vehicle when overshooting the cruise control set speed, will also be affected.
