This unit maintains OEM PCV system functionality while supplementing its capacity with a 1-liter cast aluminum swirl pot canister, which more effectively separates oil from the PCV system before the gasses return to the intake. Featuring a fully heated cast aluminum housing, superior venting, and a patent-pending baffle design, the Street Series AOS is built for durability and performance. It is compatible with all fuel types, extends engine life, improves crankcase ventilation, and is compatible with standard ECU calibrations. The V3 model introduces design enhancements like an integrated coolant passage for better heat retention and relocated coolant lines for cleaner installation and reduced condensation buildup in colder climates. Keeping oil out of the engine intake tract is crucial for preventing premature mechanical failure and maintaining performance. Oil in the intake can coat internal components, degrade hoses, and lead to detonation, preignition, emissions issues, smoke, loss of power, decreased gas mileage, and potential engine failure. The AOS system helps mitigate these risks by capturing oil vapors. This Air/Oil Separator is designed for use with Subaru WRX models from 2015-2021. It is backed by a 12-month manufacturer's warranty.
