The IAG Air/Oil Separator (AOS) is engineered to safeguard and improve the performance of your 2015-2021 Subaru WRX engine. Developed through extensive testing, this AOS system offers robust protection by significantly improving oil separation from the PCV system before returning PCV gasses to the intake. It incorporates a 1-liter cast aluminum swirl pot canister and an intelligent baffle design within its durable aluminum housing for enhanced ventilation and oil separation. Unlike standard catch cans, the IAG AOS requires no routine draining or maintenance. Separated oil collects on the canister walls and drains gradually back into the engine's crankcase. The heating system prevents sludge buildup, ensuring oil is not reintroduced into the engine in a contaminated state. The AOS body utilizes a unique baffle system to create an internal gas vortex, trapping oil as the gas passes through. This system works in conjunction with the OEM PCV system, enhancing its capacity and assisting PCV gasses to the turbo inlet via an upgraded metal PCV check valve for increased suction and air-oil separation. This AOS prevents oil from entering the intake and combats oil dilution, exceeding the capabilities of the stock PCV system, especially in ethanol-fueled applications where it captures fuel vapors. Applications include the 2015 - 2021 Subaru WRX. Please note, this product is not compatible with most aftermarket strut tower bars.
