The calipers are constructed from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, offering a lightweight yet incredibly strong and corrosion-resistant component. Aluminum pistons are utilized within the calipers to improve heat resistance and maintain optimal performance. This rear big brake kit features Ksport's Procomp system with 6-piston calipers and 380mm slotted rotors, measuring 15 inches in diameter. The opposed piston caliper design improves pad wear and rigidity compared to OEM designs. The kit includes NAOC Ceramic SC5 Street Pads, offering optimal braking performance for street and occasional track use, with reduced dust and noise. D.O.T compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are also standard, providing a quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel. Ksport Big Brake kits come with CNC machined Carbon Steel caliper brackets that allow the larger calipers to bolt directly to the OEM caliper bracket location, facilitating installation. The Procomp systems offer customization options for caliper colors, including standard finishes like Orange, Red, Black, and Yellow, as well as premium high-polish options. Rotors can be specified as either Slotted or Cross-Drilled, with slotted recommended for track use and cross-drilled for daily drivers seeking cooler rotor temperatures.
