Each caliper is constructed from a single billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, providing a lightweight yet exceptionally strong and corrosion-resistant component. The calipers are equipped with aluminum pistons, which offer superior heat resistance compared to standard materials, ensuring uncompromised operation even under demanding use. The kit utilizes CNC-machined Carbon Steel caliper brackets to ensure precise alignment and direct bolt-on compatibility with the OEM caliper mounting locations, accommodating the larger Ksport calipers. The two-piece rotor design contributes to reduced unsprung weight, fade-free performance during aggressive driving, and effective grip on both the racetrack and the street. Standard with the kit are NAOC Ceramic pads, formulated for optimal braking performance in street conditions and occasional track use. Furthermore, the inclusion of D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines enhances the braking system by preventing hose expansion under pressure, resulting in quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel than stock rubber lines. Ksport offers extensive customization for their brake calipers, with standard painted options in Orange, Red, Black, and Yellow. Premium high-polish finishes, including Silver, Gold, and Titanium, as well as Glassy/Hard Anodized Colors, are available as upgrades. With over 20,000 custom color finishes, the customization possibilities are nearly limitless. The rotors themselves can be specified as either Cross Drilled or Slotted. Cross Drilled rotors are recommended for daily driven vehicles as they run cooler, while Slotted rotors are recommended for vehicles that will see more track time. It's important to note that Ksport Big Brake kits are built to order, with production and delivery typically taking 4-6 weeks. The kit features a 4x114.3 bolt pattern and 380mm rotor diameter, specifically designed for the Nissan 240SX from 1989-1994.
