The calipers are constructed from a one-piece billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring lightweight yet unparalleled strength and corrosion resistance. They feature aluminum pistons for superior heat management and reliable operation. This kit utilizes a two-piece rotor design, providing lightweight construction for fade-free performance and effective grip during track use, while maintaining comfortable operation for daily driving. Included are D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which prevent hose expansion under pressure, leading to a quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel compared to stock rubber lines. The kit includes CNC machined carbon steel caliper brackets that facilitate a direct bolt-on fit to the OEM caliper bracket locations. The Procomp systems are available with slotted or cross-drilled rotors; cross-drilled are recommended for daily drivers due to cooler operation, while slotted rotors are advised for track-focused vehicles. The kit comes standard with Ksport SC5 Street Pads, offering optimal braking for street and occasional track use, with reduced dust and noise. Customization options for caliper colors and finishes are also available.
