The calipers are constructed from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, offering lightweight, unparalleled strength and corrosion resistance. Aluminum pistons provide superior heat resistance and uncompromised operation. This brake system features a 6-piston caliper design, which greatly improves pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to the OEM design. D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are standard, providing a quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel over stock rubber lines. Ksport offers customization options for brake calipers, including standard painted colors like Orange, Red, Black, and Yellow, as well as premium high-polish finishes and over 20,000 custom color options. You can also choose between slotted or cross-drilled rotors; cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily drivers due to cooler operation, while slotted rotors are suggested for track use. The included SC5 Street Pads offer optimal braking performance for street and occasional track use, reducing brake dust by 50% or more and minimizing noise and rotor wear, with optimal operating temperatures between 194°F - 1022°F. Carbon steel caliper brackets are CNC machined to ensure the larger calipers bolt directly to the OEM caliper bracket location.
