The calipers are constructed from a single billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring lightweight strength, durability, and resistance to corrosion. These calipers are equipped with aluminum pistons, which provide superior heat resistance compared to standard materials. The opposed piston caliper design, standard on 8-piston front systems, greatly improves pad wear and caliper rigidity over OEM designs. Included are D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines that reduce line expansion under pressure, leading to quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel. Ksport provides SC5 Street Pads, formulated with NAOC Ceramic for optimal braking performance on the street and occasional track use, offering a significant reduction in brake dust (50%+) and noise. Rotors can be optioned as either cross-drilled or slotted; cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily drivers due to better cooling, while slotted rotors are suggested for track-focused vehicles. The kit comes with CNC-machined carbon steel caliper brackets to ensure proper fitment to the OEM caliper bracket locations.
