Constructed for durability and performance, all calipers are made from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, offering a lightweight yet exceptionally strong and corrosion-resistant build. The calipers utilize aluminum pistons, which provide superior heat resistance and maintain reliable operation even under extreme temperatures. Reinforced carbon steel caliper brackets ensure that these larger-than-OEM calipers mount directly to the existing factory points. The kit includes 330mm (13-inch) 2-piece slotted, vented rotors with cast iron braking surfaces and aluminum centers. This design reduces rotational mass, leading to quicker braking response and shorter stopping distances. The 2-piece rotor construction also minimizes the risk of warping by allowing for more unrestricted expansion and contraction of the outer iron section. This ProComp Big Brake Kit is specifically designed for the 2008-2016 Mitsubishi Evolution.
