The Driveshaft Shop 1-Piece Aluminum Driveshaft offers a significant upgrade for the LX platform (Charger, 300, Magnum) in 2009-2014 models with automatic transmissions. By utilizing a custom CV joint on one end and a 1350 U-joint on the other, this driveshaft promotes a more connected and athletic feel, leading to a more responsive gas pedal and improved 60ft times at the track. Constructed with a robust 4-inch 60-61-T6 aluminum tube, this driveshaft features a custom 108mm CV joint equipped with a high-speed boot and specialized grease. The spline, made from 300m material, is integrated into an aluminum head for superior strength and reduced weight. Each shaft is precision-balanced on a 9500rpm balancer to ensure the highest quality standards. It comes complete with all high-grade hardware, replacing the problematic Giubo bolts. Installation of this 1-piece driveshaft requires a small spacer to be installed under the front mount of the differential to ensure adequate clearance for the rear section of the shaft. Spacers are included for this purpose. Additionally, a "Rear Subframe/Cradle Lock-out kit" must be installed on the vehicle before installing this 1-piece driveshaft. Failure to properly reinforce the rear cradle and limit movement can lead to damage to the driveshaft and will void the manufacturer's warranty. This driveshaft is rated for 1000hp+ and comes with a 1-year warranty.
