1-Piece Aluminum Driveshaft

The Driveshaft Shop 1-Piece Aluminum Driveshaft is engineered for the LX platform, specifically replacing the factory two-piece shaft. By transitioning to a single-piece design featuring a 1350 U-joint and a custom 108mm CV, drivers can expect a more connected and athletic vehicle response. This driveshaft is constructed with a robust 4-inch diameter tube made from 6061-T6 aluminum, ensuring durability and reducing weight. The custom CV joint is packed with high-speed special grease, and the spline is crafted from 300m material, integrated into an aluminum head for superior strength and lightness. For optimal performance and longevity, the shaft is balanced on a high-speed 9500rpm balancer and includes all necessary high-grade hardware. Installation requires a small spacer to be installed under the front mount of the differential to ensure adequate clearance for the rear section of the driveshaft. Spacers are included to facilitate the necessary adjustments to the crossmember and differential. This driveshaft is rated to handle up to 1000 horsepower.
