The integrated aluminum pistons offer enhanced heat management compared to traditional designs. This kit utilizes two-piece rotors, contributing to a reduction in overall weight and providing consistent, fade-free performance ideal for both spirited driving and occasional track use. The calipers are designed with an opposed piston configuration, which enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity over factory components. Ksport includes CNC-machined carbon steel caliper brackets, which are crucial for mounting the larger calipers directly to the OEM caliper bracket locations without requiring vehicle modifications. Included with the kit are NAOC Ceramic SC5 Street Pads, designed for optimal braking performance in street conditions and occasional track use. These pads significantly reduce brake dust and noise while minimizing rotor wear, with an optimal operating temperature range of 194°F - 1022°F. Additionally, D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines replace stock rubber lines, preventing expansion under pressure for quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel. Customers can choose between slotted or cross-drilled rotors. Cross-drilled rotors are recommended for daily driven vehicles as they run cooler, while slotted rotors are suggested for vehicles intended for more track use.
