Each caliper is meticulously crafted from a single billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring exceptional lightness, uncompromising strength, and resistance to corrosion. Aluminum pistons are utilized within the calipers to provide enhanced heat dissipation and maintain consistent operation under demanding conditions. Ksport includes CNC-machined carbon steel caliper brackets to facilitate a seamless bolt-on installation, accommodating the larger caliper dimensions relative to OEM setups. The floating two-piece rotor design allows for slight outer section movement, further contributing to better self-centering and reduced drag. Customers can choose between slotted or cross-drilled rotors, with slotted recommended for track use and cross-drilled for daily driving due to cooler running temperatures. The kit comes standard with NAOC Ceramic SC5 Street Pads, designed for optimal street and occasional track performance, offering a significant reduction in brake dust, noise, and rotor wear, with an optimal operating temperature range between 194°F and 1022°F.
