Constructed for durability and performance, the calipers are made from a single piece of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring they are both lightweight and exceptionally strong while resisting corrosion. The opposing piston design of the calipers maximizes pad grip and minimizes uneven wear, while aluminum caliper pistons contribute to better heat resistance and lighter overall weight. The kit includes reinforced carbon steel caliper brackets that allow for the direct installation of these larger-than-OEM calipers onto the factory mounting points. The rotors are a 2-piece design featuring an aluminum center to reduce rotational mass, leading to quicker braking response and shorter stopping distances. This design also mitigates the risk of rotor warping by allowing for less restricted expansion and contraction of the outer iron section. For enhanced pedal feel and responsiveness, the kit includes stainless steel brake lines that resist expansion under high temperatures and pressures. This kit is specifically designed for the 1993-2001 Subaru Impreza STI. It requires a minimum wheel diameter of 17 inches (432mm) and utilizes drilled, vented, 2-piece cast iron rotors with a 330mm (13") outside diameter.
