Each caliper is meticulously crafted from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, utilizing a 1-piece construction method that ensures exceptional strength, light weight, and resistance to corrosion. This advanced design is complemented by aluminum caliper pistons, which offer superior heat resistance and smoother operation compared to traditional materials. This kit features robust 2-piece vented and slotted cast iron rotors, each paired with an aluminum center hat. This design significantly reduces rotational mass, leading to quicker braking response and shorter stopping distances. Furthermore, the 2-piece construction allows for more unrestricted expansion and contraction of the outer iron braking surface, greatly minimizing the risk of rotor warpage. The calipers are designed with an opposed-piston configuration to enhance pad grip and promote more even pad wear, while heavy-duty caliper seals are incorporated for sustained high-temperature performance suitable for track use. Stainless steel brake lines are also included to prevent expansion under extreme conditions, ensuring a firmer and more responsive brake pedal. The kit is intended for performance and racing driving styles and requires a minimum wheel diameter of 20 inches (508mm), with an outside rotor diameter of 400mm (15.75 inches).
