The opposed piston caliper design inherently improves pad wear and offers greater caliper rigidity compared to OEM designs. All Ksport Big Brake kits include CNC-machined carbon steel caliper brackets, which are crucial for bolting the larger calipers directly to the OEM caliper bracket locations. The kit includes SC5 Street Pads, which offer optimal braking performance for street and occasional track use, reducing brake dust by over 50% and minimizing noise and rotor wear. Additionally, D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are standard, eliminating line expansion under pressure for quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel. Ksport Big Brake kits are built to order, and customers should allow 4-6 weeks for production and delivery. The available rotor options include Slotted or Cross Drilled. Cross Drilled rotors are recommended for daily-driven vehicles due to their cooler running temperatures, while Slotted rotors are recommended for vehicles that see more track time.
