The Driveshaft Shop 1-piece carbon fiber driveshaft is engineered to replace the factory 2-piece unit, offering significant weight reduction and improved performance. The 2.75" diameter shaft is constructed from a high modulus carbon fiber for strength and durability, with ends made from robust 6061-T6 aluminum. This advanced design not only reduces rotational mass, making the vehicle feel more responsive, but also eliminates the inherent movement of a hanger bearing found in 2-piece shafts, further enhancing responsiveness during acceleration. The entire factory shielding and cover system can be retained without modification. Rated to handle 850 WHP and speeds up to 180 MPH, this driveshaft is suitable for high-performance applications. It features larger, replaceable u-joints for easier maintenance and longevity. The tubing is custom wound to ensure it clears all underbody components while maintaining structural integrity.
