The calipers are constructed from a solid billet of aerospace-quality aluminum, featuring a forged one-piece design for unparalleled strength and corrosion resistance. Standard features include high-temperature seals, titanium brake pad retainer clips, and stainless-steel brake pad wear plates. This kit utilizes 2-piece rotors that offer lightweight construction and fade-free performance. The rotor design is significantly lighter than OEM, reducing rotational mass for improved responsiveness. The two-piece design allows the outer section to expand and contract independently, reducing the chance of warping due to heat. The kit includes cross-drilled rotors, recommended for daily driven vehicles due to their cooler operating temperatures, or slotted rotors for track-focused use. Included with the kit are D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which eliminate hose expansion under pressure for a quicker pedal response and firmer pedal feel. Standard SC5 Street Pads are provided, offering optimal braking performance for street use with reduced dust and noise. An upgrade to RCI Race Pads is available for extreme track conditions.
