1-Piece Forged Aluminum Caliper Kit with Slotted Rotors

This kit features 1-piece forged aluminum calipers, known for their lightweight strength and corrosion resistance. The calipers are equipped with aluminum pistons, which offer superior heat resistance and reliable operation. This rear brake system utilizes two-piece rotors, available in either slotted or cross-drilled configurations, providing a balance of fade-free performance and everyday usability. For vehicles that see more track time, slotted rotors are recommended, while cross-drilled rotors are suggested for daily drivers due to better cooling. The kit includes Ksport's SC5 street brake pads, designed to offer optimal performance for street and occasional track use with reduced dust and noise. Additionally, D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are standard, which prevent line expansion under pressure for a quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel. The standard kit includes two forged, monoblock aluminum calipers, two lightweight two-piece rotors (slotted or drilled), one set of SC5 street brake pads, two stainless steel brake lines, and all necessary mounting components and hardware. The caliper brackets are CNC machined from carbon steel to ensure a direct bolt-on fit to the OEM caliper bracket location. This specific kit is designed for the Audi A3 8L AWD model from 1996 to 2003.
