Overview

The Brian Tooley Racing pushrod set is a set of 16 one-piece pushrods designed for engine performance. Constructed from SAE 4130 chromoly tubing, they are centerless ground and case hardened to Rc 60 for durability. The ball ends are machined to a tolerance of +/- .001in and feature a black oxide finish with laser-etched specifications.

Each pushrod is centerless ground to exacting tolerances for consistent diameter and straightness. They undergo a case hardening process, reaching an Rc 60 hardness rating, which significantly increases wear resistance. The ball ends are meticulously machined to a tolerance of +/- 0.001 inches, ensuring precise valve train operation and minimizing lash. A durable black oxide finish is applied, and each pushrod is laser-etched with the part number and specifications for easy identification. This set includes 16 one-piece pushrods, each measuring 7.775 inches in length with a 3/8 inch diameter and a .080 inch wall thickness. A critical note from the manufacturer emphasizes the importance of measuring for the correct pushrod length using the specified method, rather than relying on overall length alone; instructions are available in the Downloads section of the manufacturer's website.
