The Driveshaft Shop FDSH52-A is a 1-piece rear CV driveshaft designed for 2018+ Mustang S550 & S650 models equipped with the 10-speed automatic transmission. This driveshaft features a direct-fit design that replaces the factory 2-piece shaft and eliminates the adapter plate, utilizing a precision-ground CV joint that fits directly into the pinion flange. It is constructed from aluminum and rated for over 1000 horsepower and 700 ft-lbs of torque.

The Driveshaft Shop FDSH52-A is a direct-fit, 1-piece rear CV driveshaft engineered for 2018 and newer Ford Mustang S550 and S650 models equipped with the 10R80 10-speed automatic transmission. This upgrade replaces the factory 2-piece driveshaft and adapter plate with a more robust design. It features a high-speed precision-ground CV joint, a Spicer 1350 series solid U-joint, and billet aluminum endcaps, all constructed from aluminum for strength and weight savings. The driveshaft has a 3.5-inch diameter and is rated to hold over 1000 horsepower and 700 ft-lbs of torque, making it suitable for naturally aspirated, supercharged, or turbocharged applications. Installation Note: Emergency brake cable clearance or relocation may be necessary. Failure to check this clearance can result in damage to the driveshaft and will void the warranty. WARNING: A Rear Subframe/Cradle Lock-out kit MUST be installed on the vehicle prior to installing this 1-piece driveshaft. Failure to properly reinforce the rear cradle and limit movement will void any and all warranty provided by The Driveshaft Shop. Fitment Exclusions: This driveshaft will NOT fit a 2019 Ford Mustang EcoBoost with the 10R80 automatic transmission. It is specifically designed for 10R80 equipped V8 models.
