The Driveshaft Shop CHSH38-C is a direct-fit, 1-piece rear CV driveshaft engineered to replace the factory-equipped, soft rubber-mounted shaft in 2015+ LX Charger Hellcat automatic vehicles. This advanced design integrates a precision-ground CV joint, featuring chromoly internals, directly into the pinion flange, eliminating the need for an adapter plate. This not only reduces weight but also enhances power handling capacity and improves drivetrain response for a more connected feel. Constructed from a robust 3.8-inch diameter carbon fiber tube, the driveshaft is further reinforced with billet aluminum endcaps and 300M Chromoly spline plugs for maximum durability. It is engineered to withstand over 1000 horsepower, making it suitable for heavily modified engines. For optimal performance and reliability, the driveshaft is precisely balanced on a 9500 rpm high-speed balancer. Installation notes indicate that this driveshaft for 2015+ models does not require spacers. Crucially, a Rear Subframe/Cradle Lock-out kit must be installed on the vehicle prior to installing this 1-piece driveshaft.
