Icon Forged Pistons are forged from 4032 alloy. With an 11% silicon content, 4032 alloy controls thermal expansion, allowing tighter piston-to-wall clearance than 2618 alloy. This also decreases wear on skirts and pin bores. Ideal for street and mild boosted applications. Features CNC machined crown and valve reliefs, top land mini groove technology, UEM-machined skirts, and an accumulator groove for maximum ring seal. Skirt and pin boss struts designed for heavy loads. Wrist pins and spiral lock rings included. 1/16 1/16 3/16 rings not included (but offered as an option with IC626KTD).
