The Icon Pistons IC728-040 are forged from high-ductile 2618 alloy and feature a flat-top design with a 4.9cc volume. They are CNC machined with crowns, valve reliefs, and UEM's unique in-house CNC machined skirts, including top land mini groove technology and an accumulator groove for improved ring seal. Designed for a 383 CID Chevrolet Small Block engine, these pistons have a 4.040" bore size (requiring a 0.040" overbore from a standard 4.000" bore). They include wrist pins and spiral lock rings but do not include 1/16 1/16 3/16 piston rings. The advertised piston weight is 476 grams, with wrist pins weighing 132 grams, and are compatible with an OE deck height of 9.025" and centered pin type.
