This piston kit is designed for Chrysler, Dodge, and Plymouth vehicles equipped with the Mopar Big Block B 400 stroker engine, specifically when using a 440 3.750 stroke crankshaft. The pistons feature a standard bore size of 4.342 inches, a 1.722-inch compression height, a 1.094-inch wrist pin, and are compatible with 6.358-inch connecting rods. They have a dome (step head) with a -1.5cc crown, resulting in a compression ratio of 10.9-1 with an 84cc chamber. The kit includes 8 pistons, 8 wrist pins, piston rings, and locks. The pistons are made from cast 390 Hypereutectic Alloy. It is recommended to check quench dome with clay for clearance, as closed chamber heads may require machining of the quench dome. It is designed for use with stock rods.
