The Acuity Instruments 1-Way Adjustable Performance Shifter is engineered to deliver a significantly sportier and more precise shifting experience for the 8th Gen Honda Civic. It achieves a 30%-45% reduction in gear throw and a 20%-35% reduction in gate spacing, enhancing shift accuracy and speed. This shifter offers a customizable feel with an adjustable shift knob height, allowing for a 30mm (1.2-inch) range of adjustment. The specific adjustment capabilities vary by model: '06-'08 Civic Si models can adjust 15mm taller or lower than stock, '09-'11 Civic Si models can adjust from stock height to 30mm lower, and '07-'11 FD2 and FN2 Civic Type-R models can adjust from 10mm to 40mm lower than stock. Constructed with a blend of aluminum and stainless steel for rigidity and optimized weight, the shifter utilizes two PTFE-lined precision spherical bearings for friction-free movement and long-term wear resistance. The centering mechanism has been enhanced with a 100% increase in spring force over stock for the Si and Type R models, ensuring a quick, decisive, and quiet return to center. The shifter is compatible with all M10x1.5 and OEM Honda/Acura shift knobs. This shifter is designed for the 2006-2011 Honda Civic (all 5-speed and 6-speed manual transmissions), 2006-2011 Honda Civic Si, and the 2007-2011 Honda Civic Type R (FD2 & FN2).
