Description

The Helicoil R474-4 is a free-running helical insert designed for thread repair. It features a 1/2" insert length and an M10 x 1 fine thread size with a right-hand thread direction. Constructed from 18-8 stainless steel (Grade 304), this insert offers a tensile strength of 200,000 to 250,000 psi and a hardness of Rockwell C43-C50.

The insert has a free coil diameter of 0.494" (12.5476 mm) and an overall length of 12.7 mm. It is a tanged insert, meaning it has a tang that is broken off after installation. This product is packaged in quantities of 6.
