The Zumbrota Drivetrain RAA435-1982D-P is a complete, remanufactured axle assembly engineered for 1997-1999 Ford F-250 and F-350 trucks. This unit is built with a 3.73 gear ratio and a 10.25-inch Ford ring gear, featuring Posi Traction for enhanced grip. It is designed for vehicles with a GVW under 8500 lbs and uses a semi-float C-clip axle configuration, incorporating disc brakes. During the remanufacturing process, all tubes are inspected and straightened to OEM specifications, and housings undergo rigorous testing for wear and cracks. Internal components, including the ring and pinion, gears, clutches, and carriers, are subjected to 100% inspection. Critical wear items such as bearings, seals, crush sleeves, pinion nuts, and shims are all replaced with new parts. The housings are cleaned using a state-of-the-art hydro blasting and rinsing process to restore them to an OEM finish, and precise rolling torque is established for optimal setup and longevity.
