The Rockford Fosgate M2D4-10IB-G2 is a 10-inch dual voice coil (DVC) marine subwoofer engineered for infinite baffle applications, eliminating the need for a traditional enclosure. It boasts a robust build with Element Ready™ construction, ensuring durability against water, salt, and UV rays. Built for the rigors of marine use, this subwoofer incorporates a vented motor system with a water-repelling nano-coated mesh for superior heat and moisture protection. The cone is constructed from mineral-filled polypropylene with UV defense, delivering clear low and midrange frequencies. For connectivity, it features integrated Deutsch™/Amphenol™ connectors and industry-first molded in-frame connectors with spade terminals. The dual voice coils offer selectable impedance via the VERSA switch, allowing for easy configuration between 2 or 8 ohms to match your amplifier. Enhance your audio experience with dynamic RGB illumination from ultra-bright, wide-angle LEDs, controllable via the optional Rockford Fosgate Color Optix™ controller and App. The subwoofer comes with interchangeable stainless-steel and sport grilles, allowing for personalized aesthetics. While optimized for infinite baffle installs, a proper mounting baffle is required to isolate front and rear wavelengths for optimal bass performance.
