The Rockford Fosgate RFYXZ-FWE is a vehicle-specific, 10-inch front subwoofer enclosure engineered to enhance the audio system of select Yamaha YXZ models. Constructed from a rigid, resonance-free compression-molded fiberglass reinforced polymer, the RFYXZ-FWE boasts a UV-resistant finish to withstand outdoor elements and sun exposure, ensuring long-term durability and appearance. Its texture and color are matched to the OEM Yamaha YXZ interior for a cohesive aesthetic. It utilizes OEM mounting holes, requiring minimal disassembly and only light drilling or minor adjustments, making it suitable for enthusiasts seeking performance upgrades without invasive modifications. The front-mounted placement is optimized to maintain cabin usability while adding impactful bass without sacrificing storage or legroom. The enclosure is specifically designed to house Rockford Fosgate's 10-inch marine subwoofers, including the RM110D2, RM110D2B, RM110D4, and RM110D4B series. The subwoofer itself is sold separately. The enclosure is Element Ready™, tested to ASTM B117 & D4329 standards, and IPX6 water intrusion rated for protection against harsh outdoor elements, dust, UV, temperature, water, corrosion, and vibration. It is compatible with the Yamaha YXZ1000R (2016–2020) and YXZ1000R SS (2017–2020) models.
