Construction includes a linear Carbon Fiber/PMI/Glass Fiber cone, an injection-molded foam surround, and a diecast aluminum frame with integrated heat sink fins.

The Rockford Fosgate T1S1-10S is a 10-inch shallow-mount subwoofer engineered to deliver powerful bass performance in vehicles where space is at a premium. This "Slimline" subwoofer offers a low mounting depth, making it an ideal solution for installations where traditional subwoofers won't fit. Constructed with a durable linear Carbon Fiber/PMI/Glass Fiber cone and a robust diecast aluminum frame featuring integrated heat sink fins, this subwoofer is built for reliability and longevity. It utilizes dual Nomex progressive spiders with stitched tinsel leads and a high-temperature Neodymium motor structure for enhanced thermal management and responsiveness. The 2.5-inch dual wound voice coil is optimized for significant excursion, ensuring deep and impactful bass. The T1S1-10S boasts a nominal impedance of 1 ohm and a power handling of 500 watts RMS (1000 watts max), providing substantial output for its size. Key specifications include a mounting depth of only 3.01 inches, a cutout diameter of 9.13 inches, and an optimized sealed box volume of 0.5 – 0.75 cu.ft. (14.2 – 21.2 Liters). The subwoofer also features custom 10 AWG slot-loaded brass push spring terminals for secure connections and a detachable die-cast aluminum trim ring for a clean finish. An optional protective grille insert is available.
