10-Inch Slim Loaded Enclosure with Amplifier

The PowerBass PS-AWB101T is a 10" amplified slim loaded enclosure engineered to easily integrate powerful bass into your vehicle's sound system. Designed with a focus on delivering tight, accurate bass in limited spaces, this enclosure aims to enhance your audio experience without requiring extensive modifications. At its core is a single 10" thin mount subwoofer featuring an injection-molded PP cone, a 2" KSV voice coil former, and a large roll butyl rubber surround for robust performance. The enclosure itself is a computer-optimized sealed design, finished with durable aircraft-grade vinyl. It houses a 1-channel 175-watt high-efficiency Class A/B amplifier, capable of delivering significant low-end frequencies. Connectivity is versatile, offering both high-level (speaker) and low-level (RCA) inputs to accommodate various head units. The enclosure includes a soft delay turn-on/off circuit and an auto turn-on feature when using the high-level input. For sound tuning, it provides a variable low-pass electronic crossover (50Hz – 200Hz) and a variable 12dB bass boost EQ at 45 Hz, all controllable via a variable gain control. A wired remote gain control is included for convenient adjustments on the fly. Protection is a key feature, with built-in circuitry to guard against impedance over-load, speaker shorts, thermal overheating, and DC output issues. Mounting hardware is included for installation. The subwoofer frequency range is rated from 20 Hz to 200 Hz, with a system frequency response of 38 Hz to 280 Hz.
