The Rockford Fosgate T110D2 is a 10-inch dual 2-Ohm voice coil subwoofer engineered to deliver robust bass in various enclosure types. Its construction includes a hard anodized cone and dust cap, providing an ideal blend of strength, reduced weight, and thermal conductivity, which translates to better heat transfer, lower distortion, and higher power handling. The anodized aluminum voice coil former serves as an effective heat-sink, rapidly dissipating thermal buildup during high Sound Pressure Level (SPL) conditions, ensuring cooler operation. Further enhancing its performance are embedded DVC (Dual Voice Coil) tinsel leads, stitched through the spider to prevent shorts and ensure high current/power handling with low noise operation. The subwoofer also features reversible mounting with a removable trim ring, allowing for a clean installation whether mounted from the front or back. This T1 series subwoofer is CEA-2031 compliant, ensuring its power handling adheres to industry standards. Key specifications include a 600 Watts RMS power handling capability (1200 Watts peak), a 3-inch anodized aluminum voice coil diameter, and a substantial 102 oz. double-stacked magnet motor assembly. The subwoofer is designed for versatility, with recommended enclosure volumes ranging from 0.75 cu. ft. for sealed enclosures to 1.5 cu. ft. for vented enclosures, tuned to 38 Hz.
