Description

The Motobilt 6061-T6 Aluminum tail gate armor for the Jeep TJ / LJ not only looks great but protects your Jeep TJ or LJ’s tailgate. It completely covers the tailgate and gives it a clean look. The tail gate armor is made from 3/16” thick 6061-T6 Aluminum that is laser cut in-house at Motobilt. While a steel version is offered, the 6061-T6 Aluminum provides protection while being lightweight. The 3/16” thickness matches other Motobilt body armor, creating a smooth, even look. The Motobilt tailgate armor is shipped bare raw aluminum and may require some finishing work before being painted or powder coated.
