Description

The Steele Body Weatherstrip Kit provides a comprehensive solution for replacing the major seals on 1963-1964 Ford Galaxie 500 and Galaxie 500 XL 2-door fastback vehicles. Each seal is crafted from durable EPDM rubber, chosen for its resistance to weathering and its ability to maintain a consistent, tight seal over time. The kit includes hardtop roof rail weatherstrips, a firewall-to-hood seal, front door weatherstrips, front door beltline weatherstrips, side window vertical leading edge seals, and a trunk weatherstrip. For optimal results, Steele Rubber Products recommends the use of their separately sold Weatherstrip General Installation Kit (90-3355-90) and adhesives such as 3M Super Weatherstrip Adhesive or Loctite Super Bonder 495. This kit is strictly for 2-door fastback configurations of the specified Ford Galaxie models and is not compatible with other body styles.
