The Powermaster Ford Upgrade Alternator is a 100-amp, 12V electrical generator built for reliable power in your street rod, muscle car, truck, or sport compact vehicle. Featuring a natural finish and a smooth OE-look case, this internally regulated alternator simplifies wiring with its 1-wire hookup, though it requires a heavy gauge wire (sold separately as part # 20445, 20446, or 20447). This unit boasts impressive amperage output, providing 75 amps at idle, 90 amps at cruise, and a full 100 amps at top end, ensuring sufficient power for your accessories. It includes a solid V-belt pulley (1V, 3/8" x 2.33" OD) and is USA-made. The mounting is a straight 6.93" configuration, and it utilizes a V-belt setup. Fitment is specified for 1965-1973 Mustangs with various engine sizes (170-429), but it will NOT fit the 390 engine. It also fits other 63-93 Ford vehicles equipped with a V-belt setup and a 1G style alternator, explicitly stating it WILL NOT FIT FE 390 ENGINES. Brackets are not included.
