This kit is a heavy-duty hub conversion designed to replace problematic factory unit bearings with fixed spindles for superior strength and smooth performance. Unit bearings are prone to failure due to a narrow bearing design and plastic bearing cages, especially with larger than stock tires, and are not serviceable. This kit also replaces faulty factory Ford vacuum disconnect hubs, which commonly fail and lead to loss of 4-wheel drive or unnecessary wear and tear when they don't unlock. Dynatrac was the first to engineer and build such a kit for Ford, consistently performing since 2005. Components are forged, machined, and assembled in the U.S.A.
