1000 RWHP Street/Strip Clutch Kit

The Monster Clutch Co. SC Series Ceramic Twin Disc Clutch Kit with Billet Steel Flywheel is engineered to handle up to 1000 RWHP/RWTQ for high-power applications. This kit offers aggressive engagement with some chatter and a distinct on/off feel, making it suitable for street, drag racing, road racing, and drifting, particularly when power adders like nitrous, turbochargers, and superchargers are employed. Constructed with a twin-disc design featuring ceramic-based friction discs, this clutch kit offers enhanced durability and heat resistance. The included billet steel flywheel is CNC machined and precision balanced to less than 0.100 oz/in, contributing to reduced rotational mass and reliable performance under demanding conditions. This kit is not recommended for daily driving unless the user accepts its aggressive behavior. Installation requires moderate mechanical skill and is designed as a straightforward replacement using factory GM hydraulics and hardware. Proper break-in procedures are essential for optimal engagement and the longevity of the clutch components. This clutch kit is compatible with 1997-2013 Corvette C5 & C6 models, excluding the ZR1. It includes the clutch assembly, ceramic-based clutch discs, a 24 lbs billet steel flywheel, conversion slave cylinder, pilot bearing, alignment tool, and hardware.
