The Rockford Fosgate PM1000X1bd is a 1000-watt mono amplifier engineered for demanding marine and motorsport environments. Its compact design, measuring 2.4" x 7.8" x 13.3", is built with marine-grade materials, including a two-part epoxy coated circuit board and a UV inhibitor coated chassis, to withstand harsh conditions. This amplifier boasts a super-efficient Class-BD circuit topology, delivering 1000 Watts of RMS power at 1-ohm. It's capable of driving a pair of 4-ohm DVC subwoofers or a quad configuration of 2-ohm DVC subwoofers with ease. The PM1000X1bd is specifically optimized for low-frequency response, making it ideal for mid-bass speakers or subwoofers. Key features include an on-board Punch EQ with +18dB boost at 45Hz and a 12dB/octave Butterworth crossover. It also offers high-level input capability with an Auto Turn-On circuit and muted turn-on for a clean start.
