Overview

The IAG Performance IAG 1000 FA24 short block is engineered to handle up to 1000 BHP, offering a balance of street reliability and track performance. It features +2mm IAG Spec H-Beam forged connecting rods, IAG-Spec JE Pistons with electroless nickel-plated coating, and H13 tool steel wrist pins. The block is precision-machined for the Fire-Lock™ head gasket system and IAG 14mm head studs, and hand-assembled with ACL rod and main bearings.

The IAG 1000FA24 Closed Deck Short Block is a high-performance engine component engineered to support up to 1000 brake horsepower. It is constructed using brand new Subaru OEM case halves and incorporates IAG's proprietary Fire-Lock™ receiver for enhanced durability under extreme conditions. Key internal components include +2mm IAG Spec H-Beam forged connecting rods and IAG-Spec JE Pistons. These pistons feature an electroless nickel-plated coating and H13 tool steel for increased strength and longevity. The standard bore size is 99.5mm, with options for 99.75mm on higher-level engines, ensuring a precise fit and optimal performance. This short block is specifically designed for the 2022-2026 Subaru WRX FA 2.4L engine. Fitment is crucial, and it is intended for these specific model years and engine configurations to ensure proper integration and performance.
